How Do I Look

Pretty girls are naturally camera-conscious and don't like to be caught when they've just come up from a coalmine. "No, not yet," said MARILYN WARD as NICOLA TAYLOR got her into focus, “the breeze is making me look all windswept,”

“Well, hurry up," said Nicola as Marilyn reversed the process, "I'm getting sand in my shoes, "Say cheese." said Marilyn.

"Oh, blow that," said Nicola, "every time I say cheese, I get sand in my mouth too.

"How do I look now?" asked Marilyn, sitting pretty, "As I gaze intently into the viewfinder," said Nicola, “I can now see what's in it for the photographers. No wonder they like their job."

'Yes, I see what you mean," said Marilyn a minute later, "you look ever so mini-skirted. I say, aren't they lucky, they get paid as well." “I tell you what” said Nicola, "let's go and see if there's any beefcake on the beach - we might get paid for photographing them."

Past and Present

In the past the not-long-ago past-undies were frilly and worn with stockings and suspenders.

For the present it's brevity and tights. NICOLA TAYLOR and MARIE GRAHAM, Hampshire, find the present look extremely comfortable, but how it compares with the past look, illustrated overleaf and elsewhere, is a matter of individual opinion.

"More like ruddy sacrilege,"' said Fred.

What?

"Them tights," said Fred, horrible."

Oh, you're old-fashioned.

"'You want to watch it.' said Fred, "or you'll get ate up by lions, and I hope all them tights get ate up too."

Don't take too much notice of Fred.

Sunshine Snaps

It was one of those lovely days which called for a camera to record what sunshine can do for the subject.

And our glamour girls NICOLA TAYLOR and MARIE GRAHAM took turns to put each other on record and to say 'cheese'. Marie said 'pickles' once and Nicola said it didn't look as good as cheese.

"I know," said Marie, "but when I think of cheese I always think of pickles too."

More Sun, More Fun

Out they went into the sun again, those two Hampshire housewives, MARIE GRAHAM and NICOLA TAYLOR. Well, they're all for giggles, and where there's sun there's fun.

They found a three-wheeled scooter, and that was just the job for a one-legged scoot round the farm if only they hadn't both tried to use it at the same time.

"What are you following us for?" asked Marie.

"Just for the fun of it, " said the photographer.

"Well, do excuse my stocking-tops, won't you?" said Marie.

"It's too warm for maxis, you see," said Marie.

"It's quite all right with me, "said the photographer.

Oh, good show," said Nicola.

She didn't know what she was saying.

Vision

When you're out and about you can often run into a shopping basket or pram, or even a brick wall if you're walking with your head down. We knew a feller who always kept his eyes to the ground in the hope of spotting a spare fiver. He finished up with his head jammed in a letter box. It's all eyes to the front whenever you meet a vision like NICOLA TAYLOR, and if you run into a brick wall it can only be because you've naturally gone all dizzy.

Nicola

There are times when we like to be in the garden. And if we had a garden next to the garden of NICOLA TAYLOR we'd be absolute fanatics about flowers and vegetables.

Nicola has two hobbies. One is listening to pop records; the other is gardening. She looks dreamy when she's listening to the records and if we had to get lost on a desert island with a record-player we’d choose Nicola to play it for us.

But in the garden, when she's digging up weeds, Nicola looks the epitome of outdoor charm. Not everyone looks like that in a herbaceous border, especially the man next door to us. He looks like a digger of canals and you can’t even talk to him without getting an unwanted clod of earth in your eye.

We'll have to move.

Wizard Winger

Soccer club managers who are dead worried about the lack of skills in their teams could do themselves a favour by watching the way NICOLA TAYLOR can manipulate a ball.

Supple, graceful and eye- catchingly gifted, Nicola is a wizard winger and can make an opposing 4-4-2 formation look like a lot of stranded bits and pieces.

But she's not for transfer, however. Her husband won't let her go. He likes to keep her gifts at home. They play in their garden every Saturday, and Nicola usually wins by 42-nil.

Having Trouble

We've lately been following MARIE GRAHAM and NICOLA TAYLOR around. So would any man who had an appreciative eye for gorgeous legs and briefest mini-skirts, but that's not to say you wouldn't make it up to your wife by taking her home a dazzling bouquet of roses.

We found Marie and Nicola having trouble with their car.

"Great skyhooks," said Nicola, the one in the rugby league jersey, "talk about modern technology when you have to tow the thing home. I don't know what my husband will say.

Marie said she knew what hers would say. "Where's my tea and muffins ?”

The engine was an absolute mystery to both girls. They looked into it and all over it, and Nicola poked it with a stick and Marie gave it a kick. It never said a word. It didn't even cough. That's what comes of being just a mass of unresponsive metal. Anything else or anyone else would have taken one glad-eyed look at the two mystified but gorgeous dollies and sparked into instant life.

We certainly would.

Well, we would have if it hadn’t been for our aching back.

Wholly Delightful

Seen on our cover this month is a girl we consider wholly delightful. She’s a Hampshire girl, her name is NICOLA TAYLOR, and she looks exquisite in a mini-dress.

Sun-Kissed

When there was lots of sun about, brunette NICOLA TAYLOR and blonde MARILYN WARD came out to the beach to be kissed by it. Lucky old sun.

Latest On The Loveliest

Men walk around in dizzy circles when they see NICOLA TAYLOR in her yellow bikini on Bournemouth beach. This isn't just because there is so much more of glamorous Nicola than there is of the bikini, it's also because Nicola is simply and undeniably magnetic.

Her fans consider that as a pin-up she is indubitably the loveliest.

So, here are the latest pics of the loveliest.

Nicola on the phone is a knockout. Which means, of course, that the feller on the other end of the line is next door to unconscious and would be completely kaput if he could see her as well as hear her.

Nicola likes surfing, sports cars and keeping the furniture highly polished. She has a flair for making everything around the house look as if it's just left the showroom.

For The Enthusiast

A pin-up enthusiast is someone who takes his pin-ups seriously and pastes them all very carefully in a large album. Ordinary men take them out to wine and dine and send them flowers.

For the enthusiast, pin-up pictures of NICOLA TAYLOR are a must, and here is Nicola looking so delightful that any enthusiast would want to paste her in his album.

Anyone Feel Dizzy ?

According to her fans, NICOLA TAYLOR turns them all on, and there's hardly a day goes by without some entirely susceptible Charley boy doesn't spin round until he drops.

Nicola is a Hampshire girl with her own way of looking lovely. She simply remains herself.

There was a sensitive baby elephant which spent all its growing years trying to look like a bunch of flowers. It didn't create any real impact, and one day when it emerged from the river looking exactly like a growing baby elephant, an American lady tourist said, "Oh, how cute, can I buy that one?"

The baby elephant was happy ever after.

There you are, then. If you're lovely in your own way, be like Nicola and the baby elephant. Just remain yourself and don't grow a beard.

Three’s a Crowd

Marie Graham, Eve Law and Nicola Taylor

Three always is a nice crowd when it's made up of MARIE GRAHAM, standing, blonde EVE LAW kneeling on the left and NICOLA TAYLOR on the right.

The girls got together in a young wives' Club P.T. session, designed to keep one's shape shapely, and we snaked along and sneaked our photographer in to make a record of the proceedings.

It was fun, really, and being really hospitable they gave him tea when he'd snapped his final shot.
