I have recently been preparing some early editions of Mentor and Janus, and was surprised to note how many familiar faces there were. In its early days, Janus Publications was obviously a buyer of pictures from ToCo.
Most, I think, are quite familiar, but can you put names to faces?

The Kent sisters, Susanne and Madeline, did a photo shoot here in 1965. These pictures, though, never appeared in a magazine, as far as I am aware. Louise Crawford was also a regular visitor at the tennis club. The final picture of this set shows the clubhouse as it is now; still the original building with its distinctive double pitch roof. It is reasonably well overlooked, but I suppose you would have had to look quite hard to notice from a distance that the girls had shorts on with their stockings and suspenders on show.

What was needed by her parents' fireplace, thought LOUISE CRAWFORD, was a nice rocking-chair. Grandpa had had one and gave Louise rides on his knees when she was a little girl.
Louise still has a yen for a rocker, and for want off one by the fireplace she has to sit on that fur rug. All we can say is that if any decoration goes really excitingly with a fireside fur rug, it's Louise.
She looks good whatever she's doing. She plays a smashing game of tennis and a shapely game of basketball. She's not the best of footballers, however, but she looks gorgeous in her short soccer shorts.
Oh, come up to our sports shop sometime, Louise.
"Not unless I'm wearing my shin-pads," said Louise, "I know you”.
We like a lovely bird with a sense of humour.
You can get a laugh a minute out of BUNNY GOODRICH, she's an absolute comic, and the things she says make old Gaffer Wallop spill his teeth into his beer. He doesn't mind what happens to his teeth, however, so long as his eyesight remains good.
Come the day when he can't get Bunny into focus when she's riding her bike and showing her lovely legs, then old Gaffer Wallop will be ready to wear glasses. He always said he wouldn't. But he will if it means missing Bunny on her bike or sunning it in her bikini. Bunny measures 37-24-37. No one should miss that.
All set to go on a long tramp through the Highlands is Ayrshire girl LOUISE CRAWFORD.
A sturdy pair of denim jeans, a serviceable top and a pair of clumping walking boots were the stated requirements. When Louise got them on she said, "Help, I look like a female navy."
So, she undid a button or two just to let people know she was a real, live, curvy girl and not a navy, and everyone said that was the nicest walking outfit on record. She was ever so popular on the hike. All the fellers took turns to carry her rucksack.
