Editorial: This month, as you will have observed, we have turned the searchlight on two problems of public importance: careers for girls (p. 22), and the question of sex equality (p.17). We feel that it is public-spirited features of this type which have given X for Men its unique position as the Glamour Magazine for the Top People. However, we seek no public recognition for our work; it is sufficient reward to know that we act as spokesmen for the still substantial portion of the country's male population which is interested in women. On them Britain's future depends.

P.S. We have not forgotten the Steel Industry pictures we promised last month. They will appear next time, we promise!
