Mixed Glamour - eBooks
I have acquired many books over the years and am still doing so. The books below are copies that I think are worthy of preserving and presenting here. Unfortunately, there are no complete sets, just a few of each title or random copies, which there were many of. Most of these books are from the 1960s and early 70s, and they usually contain very little information other than the publisher's name.
The content is very typical of the time, with lots of great pictures featuring stockings, suspenders, and knickers, generally of the high-waisted variety, frequently posed in odd domestic situations.

Editorial: Three Cheers for the first issue of FOLLIES', a complete sell-out ! However, those of you who read our first issue will be eager to get on with the 'fruity' contents we have gathered together this month. For the new reader though, the introduction: We have all read about a certain school for girls and quite a few of us will have seen the films they made of it. Then there's the famous radio and T.V. comedian who takes the part of a headmaster in a well known television series. The tricks he and his boisterous pupils get up to are enjoyed by millions. In Follies at St. Freda's we are trying a new slant; to combine glamour with humour, and to give us a basis for this we have invented an "Exchange Finishing School for Older Girls."
To St. Freda's will come many girls from different countries. Their intention ? To become ladies. However what does happen to them is no-one's business OR IS IT ?
