Anne Duke
Anne was an attractive dark-eyed brunette model from Wales who moved to Reading in Berkshire. She was passionate about driving her mini (in a mini I imagine) but her favourite hobby was entering beauty contests, for which she was more than adequately equipped. With such a pretty face and stunning figure, she would have been a serious contender in any of them.
But her talent for making a pair of sheer nylon knickers look so mouth-wateringly tantalising would not have got her anywhere with the judges – well perhaps some of them.
On perusing Anne’s pictures, something very interesting emerges. The ToCo era was long, long before the scourge of dreadful political correctness was even thought of. Yet there are two pairs of identical (almost identical) photos of her – one pair of half plate photos (of a series) and the other pair published in Span 172. In the first she is wearing a necklace with a crucifix, and in the other a necklace with a pendant – the crucifix had been retouched out. A similar anomaly exists with a set from Span 200. Now why on earth would they do that? Especially when the crucifix was left intact in the series called Berkshire in Spick 232!
